'SMALL WORLD'

MOMENTS OF WONDER + AWE

Each piece is titled after a place that is close to my heart. Whether it be somewhere I feel a kinship towards, or once visited and has long left a lasting impression upon my soul, these sentiments and memories have now made their way to the canvas.

Created to embody the feeling of each of its namesakes, this body of work is more than just an ode to the beauty of the rising and setting sun and moon, it is a test of our senses. It employs the viewer to reminisce, to revisit the tastes, smells, sights and sounds that make up their cumulative memory of a place.

We each experience this world in our own unique way, but collectively the overlap is rich with emotion. It is in this mutual retrospective that we see how small it actually is.
